In Quebec only : The eligible electronic thermostats meet all of the Hydro-Quebec’s energy efficient criteria. Hydro-Quebec relies on the CAN/CSA-C828 norm to establish these criteria.
The thermostats, programmable or not, can be wall units for electronic baseboards and convectors or integrated to the convectors.

Stelpro Design inc. is approved by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) to run laboratory tests based on the 17025:2005 norm that establishes general competency requirements. This approbation allows us to test and/or standardize or calibrate our products, including samples, in our laboratories with the established 17025:2005 norm. This allows us to accelerate the development and the certification of our products by the CSA.
