On May 2nd, 2017, Health Canada issued an expanded recall of line voltage thermostats manufactured by UPM Inc. This recall includes products manufactured by UPM and distributed under several brand names. The thermostat product code affected by this recall is HTM511.
Stelpro distributed this product for only two months at the beginning of 2005. >>>

This notice is to advise you that an anomaly has been observed regarding the production of our STE402 and STE403 thermostats manufactured in August 2011 only. >>>


Stelpro Design or Uniwatt branded construction heater

The safety standard of portable electric heaters, commonly known as construction heaters, was modified in 2009 (CSA-C22.2 no. 46). This modification was published in order to ensure that additional safety measures be implemented for this type of heater.
This only affects models PCH48T (red), PCH4800T (yellow), UCH48 (red), UCH4800 (yellow), PCH4.8 (beige), PCH4.8 (red), LCH48T (orange or beige), LCH4800T (yellow), IF48T (red), IF4800T (yellow), CIF-48T (red) et CIF-4800T (red or yellow) manufactured between January 2000 and March 2009. >>>
