GC

Installed directly on the concrete slab during construction, the Green Cable ConcreteTM ensures optimal and constant comfort. It uses the greater capacity of the concrete slab to store heat, which it then radiates more evenly and for longer.

MANUFACTURING

  • Heating elements covered with fluoropolymer insulation for greater reliability
  • Paired and twisted dual conductor design to eliminate electromagnetic fields
  • Conductors shielded with a copper braid to ensure safety and robustness
  • Extra-strong flexible PVC sheath to withstand concrete pouring

POWERS AND VOLTAGES

  • 18 W/ft² for a 4 in. spacing at 240 V13.5 W/ft² for a 4 in. spacing at 208 V
  • 12 W/ft² for a 6 in. spacing at 240 V9 W/ft² for a 6 in. spacing at 208 V

CONTROL

Electronic thermostat for heated floor (sold separately)


Note: This product must be used with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) unless not required by the national or local code in the region where it is being installed.

INSTALLATION

  • Never cut the cable
  • For indoor residential, commercial, institutional and industrial applications only
  • Can be installed in 3 in. to 6 in. concrete slab or 1.5 in. to 4 in. concrete screed
  • Compatible with most floor coverings*
  • Can be installed with or without a wire mesh or rebar for reinforced concrete
  • Supplied materials: adhesive tape rollers, 15 ft (4.5 m) floor sensor, installation guide and electrical panel label
