Available in 120 or 240 V, True Comfort heating cable is flexible, reliable, and versatile. It can be installed in an uncoupling membrane or with True Comfort Cable Spacers. The heating cable is ideal for small or large rooms and even irregularly shaped rooms where obstacles must be worked around.

*When the installation complies with the installation guide, the electromagnetic field measurement of 0.25 to 0.5 milligauss is considered insignificant.

MANUFACTURING

Constant diameter for use in uncoupling membranes
Heating elements covered with thermoplastic polymer insulation
Double heating element allowing a return to the thermostat inside the cable (therefore, cable layout planning doesn’t require a return to the thermostat)
Copper braiding
Flexible, robust cable with minimal shape memory
Adapts to all room shapes and sizes
Maximises total power to heat a room

COMPATIBILITY

Compatible with many floor coverings
When using flexible and wood floor coverings, the heating cable must be covered with a ½ in.-thick self-leveling underlay.
Compatible with subfloors that can accommodate the cementitious products required to encapsulate the heating cable

INSTALLATION

Can be used with all compatible uncoupling membranes
Directly on concrete (screed or basement floor), slab on grade, structural slab, using Cable Spacers (included with the product)
Directly onto plywood using Cable Spacers (included with the product)
Hot glue sticks included
Can be installed under most floor coverings

Check with the substrate manufacturer/association to ensure compatibility with floor heating systems.
The selected substrate must be clean, flat, smooth, structurally sound and free from any substance that can reduce the bonding properties of the adhesive, or protruding nails, screw heads or other materials that may damage the cables.
